For 2010 all events are singles ie no doubles events

 We dont not take reservations for events you must mail in your registration with full payment. It take approx. 3 weeks to hear back from us (since we - family Babuin - are volunteers and have many other commitments).

Thursday 3/18/2010 - 4-5pm training clinic for beginners (FREE!) sign up DIRECTLY with the Town of Cary in January http://www.classweb.townofcary.org/ course code 44724 or contact Bond Park directly.  If you aren't already registered with Town of Cary Parks and Recreation then use their mail in form to register for this course with them. 

Friday 3/19/2010

Hardbat - 'B' gym. 10am-3pm. 32 players snake seeded into 4 groups of 8, top player from each group advances to final round of 4 players. Open to absolute beginners through to advanced players. Read the hardbat equipment details carefully! Trophies 1st - 4th. 1st place $250, 2nd place $150, 3rd place $50

Over 1800 event   3pm-9pm.  Snake seeded, 32 players into 4 groups of 8 players with the top player of each group progressing to final round of 4. Trophies 1st - 4th. 1st place $600, 2nd place $400, 3rd place $200, 4th place $100.

Under 1800 event  THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL (waitlist is now FULL please do not apply) 3:30pm-9pm.  Snake seeded, 32 players into 4 groups of 8 players with top player of each group progressing to final round of 4. Trophies 1st - 4th. 1st place $250, 2nd place $150, 3rd place $50  Cannot enter U1350 event IF in this event

 Under 1350 event  4pm-9pm Break out rooms 'C' & 'D'. Snake seeded, 32 players into 4 groups of 8 players with top player of each group progressing  to  final  round  of 4.  Trophies 1st - 4th Cannot enter U1800  event IF in this event

Saturday -Over 1100 Championship Event THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL (waitlist is now FULL please do not apply) 3/20/2010 in 'A' & 'B' gyms, 'C' & 'D' rooms  with champions' finals on Sunday 9:30am - 3pm

Cary Cup Main event (over 1100) 9am START! 

Round1 - 9am start -128 players snake seeded into 32 groups of 4. Players all advance into one of 4 division depending on their play in round 1.  

Round 2 - approx noon start - the top player from each round 1 group advances into A group, 2nd into B group, 3rd in C group and 4th into D group.  Each of the A, B, C, and D divisions has 4 subgroups of 8 players (eg A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, B2, B3.....) .

Round 3 Finals FOR B, C, D divisions - approx 6pm start -The top player (just 1) from each subgroup in round 2 group advances to the round 3 finals for each of the B, C & D groups starting directly after round 2 approx.  Trophies for 1st -4th B group, 1st -4th C group, 1st - 4th D group

Champion finals - 9:30am Sunday start - FOR A division the top 4 players from each subgroup in round 2 advance to the champions single elimination finals on Sunday

SUNDAY CHAMPIONS FINALS! 9:30am - 3pm. 16 players in a single elimination round

• 1st place - trophy and $3000
• Finalist - trophy and $1500
• Semi finalists - trophy and $700 each
• Quarter Finalists - trophy and $300 each
• Eigth Finalists - trophy and $200 each
• Top woman in main event $100
• Top Under 18 year old in main event $100

  EVENT FEES:

• Rating fee = $7
• Hardbat event = $40 per player
• Over 1800, U1800 or U1350 = $40 per player - you can ONLY enter ONE!!
• Main event = $95 OR $70 if using a $25 discount option!!

Cary TTA is a non-profit run by volunteers. All tournamnet proceeds pay for equipment used at tournaments and in local open play. Please keep TT going by participating in tournaments throughout the year.
